He was born and raised in Guanajuato, Mexico. Growing up he always enjoyed street dancing, mostly cumbia and quebradita. With no previous dance training, once he moved to Las Vegas in 2001 he was quickly drawn into the salsa scene and to LA style on 1. He quickly enrolled in salsa classes and started learning. Having danced in different dance companies over the years and performing both in LA and NY style salsa, he diversified his own style. As a member of Sin City Salseros since 2005, he has evolved in his dancing and training into different styles to become a more versatile and skilled dancer. He is now one of the directors of some of the Sin City Salseros teams as well as specialized in private instruction.
